Assessment Intern / Associate
Practice Area: General Corporate & Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A)
Eligibility
Applicants should possess:
- A five-year integrated law degree from a recognised and reputed university.
- A strong academic record throughout their legal education.
Experience Required
Candidates should have prior internship or professional experience with a reputed law firm in the Corporate or Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) practice area. Exposure to corporate transactions, due diligence, or advisory work will be an advantage.
Desired Skills
Applicants should have a sound understanding of:
- Companies Act, 2013
- Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), 1999
- SEBI regulations and securities laws
- RBI rules and regulatory framework
- Indian Contract Act
- Industrial and Labour Laws
Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, and communication skills are also desirable.
Preferred Qualification
Candidates holding a Company Secretary (CS) qualification, or those with relevant CS training or practical experience, will be given preference.
