About Hon’ble Mr. Justice R. Mahadevan
Hon’ble Mr. Justice R. Mahadevan is a Judge of the Supreme Court of India. Before his elevation to the Supreme Court, he served as a Judge of the Madras High Court. During his legal career, he practised extensively in civil, criminal, constitutional and taxation matters, and held several important positions representing both the State and the Union Government.
His judicial experience and expertise make this internship a valuable learning opportunity for law students interested in litigation, constitutional law, and judicial processes.
About the Internship
The Office of Hon’ble Mr. Justice R. Mahadevan is accepting applications for a full-time, in-office internship in August 2026. Selected interns will have the opportunity to closely observe judicial proceedings and assist with various research-oriented assignments under the guidance of the office.

Roles and Responsibilities
Interns may be required to:
- Conduct legal and case law research.
- Prepare concise case briefs and research notes.
- Assist in analysing legal issues arising in pending matters.
- Observe proceedings before the Supreme Court of India.
- Perform other academic and research-related assignments entrusted by the office.
Eligibility Criteria
Applications are invited from:
- Students in the 3rd year or above of a 5-year integrated LL.B. programme, or
- Students in the 2nd year or above of a 3-year LL.B. programme.
Applicants should possess good legal research, analytical, and legal writing skills.
