The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is an autonomous agency under the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India. Established in 1988 and operational since 1995, NHAI is headquartered in New Delhi and is responsible for managing India’s extensive national highway network.
About the Role
NHAI is inviting applications for Young Professionals (Legal) on a contractual basis. This role provides an opportunity to:
- Contribute to the development of India’s national highway infrastructure.
- Gain practical experience in handling legal matters related to the highway sector.
- Work closely with government frameworks and infrastructure projects.
Eligibility
- Reservation benefits apply only if the caste/community is listed in the Central Government’s notification.
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates must submit a valid certificate issued during 2025–26.
- Certificates must:
- Clearly state “Non-Creamy Layer” status.
- Match the spelling of caste/community with the Central OBC List.
- Be issued in the prescribed format by the designated authority.
- Candidates seeking reservation under OBC-NCL/PwBD must ensure compliance with all requirements and possess all requisite certificates in the prescribed format.
