Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must satisfy the following requirements:

  • Only women candidates are eligible.
  • Age should be between 21 and 40 years.
  • Candidates should be enrolled in or associated with a recognised university, educational institution, research organisation, or non-academic institution.
  • Preference is given to applicants belonging to non-tier I cities and rural areas of India.

Internship Duration

The Ministry conducts the internship in four batches every financial year:

  • May – June
  • August – September
  • November – December
  • February – March

Each internship batch runs for two months.

Selected interns may be involved in:

  • Conducting policy and legal research.
  • Assisting with pilot projects and thematic studies.
  • Analysing government welfare programmes.

Selection Process
